For podcasters, recording is just a small part of the process. Each episodes requires lots of planning and organisation.

You can plan the sections of each episode from within Minim, and then export them to share with everyone who is working on the episode. They can be imported back into Minim by any of your collaborators or be opened in any text editor.

Doing anything on a computer creates lots of files and making audio is no exception. Everything in Minim can have files associated with it, be it a song, a podcast, a show or an album. If you have your own file structure set up then Minim can provide you easy access to it. If you'd rather not worry about where your files are then let Minim take care of them for you.

Creating a song or a podcast is often a collaborative process. With songs you can have different people composing the music, writing the lyrics and producing the track. With podcasts you have co-hosts, guests and sponsors to keep track of.

Collaborators can be added to songs and podcasts to help you note down who is doing what. You can assign them roles and write notes about them. If you are working with musicians you may want to assign them a percentage of the royalties. And of course it would be helpful to know how to contact them so Minim integrates with your Address Book to provide contact details from within same screen.

Minim has been extensively tested with VoiceOver to make sure that every last button and text field has been labelled so you won't be left having to hope that anonymous button doesn't damage your data while you find out what it does.

Extra effort has been put into keyboard navigation. You can access the entire user interface just from the keyboard and even re-arrange tables. All drag and drop operations have copy and paste equivalents and most operations have menu items with keyboard equivalents which are all listed in an accessibility help guide in the application, so you don't have go searching the menu to find what keys to press.

We have also made sure that any parts of our interface where colour is key can be clicked to give greyscale alternatives for those suffering from colourblindness.
