Any power user, in Tiger had folders in their dock to let them quickly drill down the file system without needing to resort to finder, or even just to open a blank finder window at a certain folder. I had several for all my important folders + my Hard Disk. Then Apple had a brain fart and replaced them with the vastly inferior stacks. Luckily my new personal hero Rainer Brockerhoff (also of RBSplitView fame) has given us poor power users our dock folders back. And for the low, low price of €7 at that.
